CORTEX EPDM Membrane System

CORTEX 0860 is a Fully adhesive-backed EPDM Membrane with a very strong bond adhesion and will adhere to most substrates. Using CORTEX 0860 will give you a quicker application time compared to traditional methods as we can now split the release liner to any width you require. - Can be applied in temperatures as low as -10°C. - Excellent UV resistance (in excess of 25 years exposed) - Widths available: 50-500mm CORTEX EPDM Membrane with Gasket has an extruded strip along one edge to allow the membrane to be clipped into a grove on the profile or a separate extruded carrier. CORTEX EPDM Membrane with Gasket is typically used in wet weather and offers huge-time saving opportunities when applying EPDM onsite or in factories. CORTEX Pre-moulded EPDM corners provide a 100% weather tight seal with easy application for difficult corner details. At Obex we can mould our EPDM to any shape you require (within the parameters of tooling). If you require a pre-moulded EPDM Sleeve to seal up a balcony bracket, ventilation duct, air vent or anything similar then we can make it possible. We will create a 3D drawing of the sleeve and send a sample for you to take a look at. CORTEX EPDM Membrane provides a weathertight seal to the exterior side of the connecting joint between a window or façade screen and the adjacent structure (e.g. concrete wall, steel frame, etc.), or to provide an internal airtight seal in similar details. The material has a textured surface on both sides to ensure maximum bond strength is achieved. CORTEX EPDM Membrane does not contain any solvents which could later migrate into adjacent surfaces. The product has a long expected service life and is environmentally friendly.
